In the series Drawing a Line, the line drawn is not merely a physical mark, but a metaphorical boundary between truth and deception — constantly being tested, blurred and redefined. Graphite whispers in shadows and shades, while the eraser reveals traces of what once was. A line is drawn and redrawn, a perpetual negotiation between presence and absence, distortions by entities lurking in the shadows, nefarious in intention. In this series of five drawings, truth is a fluid construct reshaped by the forces of manipulation and mimicry.

Drawing a Line delves into the fragile boundaries of identity where determining a truth is complicated by the presence of artifice. These works open a space for reflection where authenticity is questioned, influence merges with imitation and reality dissolves into a continuum of infinite possibility.
